The first step in crafting Rebel Road Gin is carefully selecting botanicals. Juniper berries, coriander seeds, citrus peel, angelica root, wattle and coriander seeds, honey, Tasmanian pepper leaf and berries mingle amongst other favoured herbs and spices. The specific combination of botanicals is crucial in determining the flavour profiles you love.
Maceration
Our carefully selected botanicals are immersed in a delicate blend of neutral spirit and pure water for up to 24 hours, allowing them to gracefully unfold their exquisite flavours and captivating aromas.
Distillation
Following maceration, our expertly crafted botanical blend, alongside pure water and neutral spirit undergoes a refined distillation. At precisely 78 degrees, the magic unfolds as alcohol vaporises, intertwining with aromatic essences. Through our state of the art condenser, this ethereal fusion returns to liquid form, resulting in sublime, clear and intensely fragrant gin.
Blending & Bottling
Once distilled, only the finest 'hearts' are meticulously selected to blend with pure water, honing the ideal alcohol content and flavour profile. This pivotal stage guarantees the utmost consistency and harmony in every sip of Rebel Road Gin.
